Independent Laboratory and innovative biotechnological start-up

Project presented by

GREEN ENERGY PRODUCTION. REPLACING FOSSIL FUELS. REVERSING GREENHOUSE EFFECT.

What is the Kodamic power plant ?

centrale kodamique schéma.png

The Kodamic power plant is a project to produce new green energy

that will absorb more CO2 than it emits.

The maintenance of forests for the valorization of their sap is at the heart of this new bio-fuel chain based on micro-algae. In addition to being ecopositive, it based on the innovations of the Néomerys laboratory to reduce the production costs of bio-fuel.

Putting the reforestation at the heart of our energy production resolves the fundamental problem of excess CO2 currently being emitted in our atmosphere by the exploitation and use of fossil-fueled energies.

3rd generation biofuels are still too expensive. In question : many steps (mecanical and chemical), very consuming, polluting, costfull and hard to simplify.

The production of Kodama biofuel:

- Teaching algae new process facilitating properties :

- Low-cost and easier harvesting (innovation)

- No more drying step : biocatalyst from SupAgro working under aqueous medium.

- Spontaneous auto-grinding triggered on-demand (innovation).

At the root of this project lies Neomerys, a fledgling company currently based in SupAgro Montpellier (France), created about 4 years ago following the biotechnological innovations conceived by Dr Jeremy Dutheil.

Neomerys is testing a new procedure, both ethical and Eco-Positive, by feeding tree-sap to microalgae to be subsequently processed into biofuel.

One of the essential points of this innovative process lies in the correct transformation method of microalgae.

Certainly, as this process does not need drying, grinding, separation or modification, it can reduce the production cost of this biofuel by 70% when compared to the already existing procedures.

These raised locks, Neomerys algae, combined with other techniques, tips and tools to facilitate the large-scale production of these microalgae, will permit to produce the first truly eco-friendly and economically affordable fuel.

Once those challenges are overcome, Neomerys

microalgae, combined with other techniques, tricks and tools for large scale microalgae production,

will allow the production of the first truly eco-virtuous and economically affordable biofuel.

A group of women and men are working towards the development

of the scientific needed to preserve the Planet.

To make it attainable on a large scale, this discovery

requires significant citizen mobilization.
